Day 5 – The historic beach resort of Kovalam

Day 6 – A day in paradise
Join our yoga master for a morning meditation session. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy the cliff-top setting of your resort. Meals B

Day 7 – Fly to Sri Lanka
Transfer to the airport for your included flight to Colombo. Then journey into the central plains to Sigiriya and check in to the Vil Uyana Hotel. Meals B

Day 8 – Discover Sigiriya c
Rising 650 feet above the plains, the rock fortress of Sigiriya is an astounding palace complex of gardens, pools, and fountains built in the 5th century. Your tour takes you to the summit for glorious views of the countryside. Meals B

Day 9 – Drive to Kandy c
Visit Matale, surrounded by fragrant spice plantations, and continue on to historic Kandy. Check in to the Chaaya Citadel and tour Dalada Maligawa, a revered temple strongly associated with the early spread of Buddhism. Meals B

Day 10 – Sightseeing in historic Kandy
The final stronghold of the Sinhalese Kings is revered to this day as the island’s cultural capital. Today you’ll visit the Royal Botanical Gardens, laid out in 1832 and considered one of the world’s finest. Meals B

Day 11 – Into the highlands of Sri Lanka
Travel to Nuwara-Eliya and check in to the unique Heritance Tea Factory Resort, set on a lush organic tea plantation. Try your hand at tea harvesting and sample fine Ceylon Tea. Meals B
